If we can win then a position could look a lot stronger.

Yes Kevin,  there seems to be so many crucial clashes over the rest of the season that amount to 6 pointers that very quickly will shift the fate of a team near the bottom very quickly.

I'm getting excited about Brum falling once again. They have been on a brilliant run but still aren't quite clear and the last couple of results seem to suggest a period of loss of form.

We have to beat Millwall because it's not just 3 points it's a massive pointer as to who will have the heart and mind to go tge distance.

in fact we need three wins on the trot, highly unlikely, but vital at this stage IMO

I'm going for 12 straight wins.

I think 14 is a bit unrealistic.

Preferably a loan centre back,

we don't need loans, we need to stick with the team that won against Bolton, Ipswich and draw with Derby. We were always going to get tonked by Wolves and Watford. Need to belt our next few home games. Millwall and Wednesday for starters.

I would be happy with any loan that improves us.

That being said, we have proved we have enough to get the results we need.

I have seen the evidence of that.

The final proof is the ability to be consistent.

I don't think Fryers is first team material just as yet, looks pretty shaky, but I'm sure he'll develop

Our season starts on Saturday and we have a three point start on our rivals. I said in a previous post that if we could survive February get 5 points out of those games and stay out of the bottom three we would have a great chance of staying up.

My prediction for a very tough February to keep us on track for survival was 5 points - we have 4 with a game to go so very much achievable.

March looks a bit easier on paper.
Cardiff (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Wigan (H)
Forest (A)
Wednesday (H)

I'm going for a seven point return.

Will Millwall bottle it if they lose on Saturday? Pressure is a funny thing and  some teams seem to stand up to it, will millwall?

If we dont lose to millwall then the pressure is still on, for both clubs but I think we will have what it takes to get out of trouble.

Im tipping a 3-0 win for the Millers, with an early goal for the Millers the game will open up, I just hope weve got our shooting boots on.  smile
