I think batman cannot be ignored. He has the experience and resources for the job.
Robin Hood is very good. Not only did he deal with the political hijackers of his day he gave back to the poor. Nor many do that. Most put things right for a short period then they get corrupted by the money and power but not Robin Hood. Somewhat worried about his tights and weapons in the modern world...Well, the tights will get votes actually.
I like shrek idea and popeye but they don't have the political a***en when it gets tricky with the money laundering etc. I take your point though. Brilliant at sorting out the straight forward stuff.
Spartacus is a legend but he got himself all too hyped up and probably over stretched the budget. Batman nearly fell on his own sword but he didn't and for that reason Spartacus is out.
Now then ,Kevin, suggested sarah and john connor- very interesting: Guts, staying power, intelligence, survivors and with the terminator on their side they have some muscle too.

Too big and has a fatal weakness for vulnerable women, which, is exactly what we don't need anymore of in politics.

Obviously he would get my vote and although he has had his issues his reformed behaviour and honesty are beguiling. However, we need him in the managers dugout.
