I do read MM but refuse to post, yes it is a more active site but this will change. The standard of behaviour there is appalling and I can't work out why the better posters carry on.

The better posters maybe believe that things will improve on the other footy board.
I cannot see it myself. The life is being drained out of that board by some hostile behaviour and some suspect dating sites advertising their wares.
The thing about MM is the cliques that are on there, and there's some poster's who are seen as 'main' posters that basically have their heads up their own back sides. Another issue is the arguments, there's one poster in particular, an obviously smart fella by the content of his posts, but who constantly picks people up, 'correcting' their opinions etc, then the thread descends into chaos and arguing, it's tiresome.
Having said that, there's still some value to be had on there, and i still post regularly. As for MM users coming on here, Exeter has to be very clear who he wants and what he puts up with if they do.
Yeah, I still post on both (under another name on MM) hoping as Andy says that things will improve. As Millmoormagic says, there are cliques on there that almost attack opinions inconsistent with theirs. MM does have some good posters though and you can still glean good information from them. So far, this site has contributors that don't attack. You are allowed to have a difference of opinion and you get the likes of Ian who posts some excellent stuff - E.G. Championship Club Budgets and RUFC's results and his projections on finances. That was interesting.
Still growing on here and at times quiet so any new posters and members would be very welcome.

I only ever go on MM to read the posts I dont post nowadays and even this is hard to do with all the ads etc. Saying that I skip quite a few threads and posts of certain postees. I suppose we all get what we want from where ever and MM is just another source of information for me.
It seems there is a few who dont want to venture away from MM and thats fine if you want to be limited to what you are doing but Its a big wide world outside
There is also the few that wont come over and post because of how Millers Banter came about, well id say dont cut your nose off to spite your face. Theres nothing to stop them posting on both boards and getting the best from both sites. Lifes too short to hold grudges and this Board is here for all not just for one Man.
Millers Banter in a short space of time has grown and is getting bigger and better by the day, its also very enjoyable and friendly too.
So come on board sign up have a look around try a post or two and who knows?
I would like to see DavidR, Roly, vespabri, s***, brin, redant, tony, loyal start to post on here to name just a few - sure there are many more good and worthwhile posters on MM.
