According to Sky Sports Massimo Cellino's appeal against disqualification as owner of Leeds United has been rejected. Oh dear, what the heck happens now?

Here's a link

Seems he will be back next season - not sure what the point of this farce is.  Either he is not a fit and proper person and should not be allowed to run a football club or he isn't.  Are they saying well, he's unfit this season but we will give him a slap on the hands and let him have another go at it next season.  What changed?  An epiphany on Cellino's part?

I guess its punishment based and a time ban to these things?

Poor Leeds. Been in a hell of a mess for ages. Then this clown rocks up and doesnt really help!

Yes you're right Ian its a right mess for Leeds, they have been in the mire for years now and just seem to be jumping from one disaster to another.  It may be that the circus off the field could upset things on the playing side and drag them further into the relegation scrap.

Here's hoping they fall below the Millers, rather them than us!

That's the only plus side Kevin, lol.

Although the way cellino interferes it will probably help redfern get focused.

Maybe the Wootton deal might get resurrected?

I guess he will still be in charge by proxy though.

He also has another 2 convictions pending in the Italian courts.

Does not look too hopeful for him being he owner much longer.

Ideally Leeds will take the third relegation spot instead of us.

It's sad really. Cellino is quoted as saying that he feels like a guest at a party who is not welcome.
I'm glad he did not say that he felt like a fart in a crowded lift.
That too is not welcome. But hey, he seems like an affable sort of guy.

Leeds are at home to Bournemouth tonight and if they lose by 2 goals or more, we rise to 20th.
