With the Blades trouncing Q.P.R. by 3 goals to nil in their own back yard half a hour ago, and now the Owls having a 1-0 lead at Manchester City, could it be a fantastic double for our near neighbours?
After our doom and gloom yesterday I sincerely hope that they both go on to the next round!
It's a funny thing but despite all their heroics in cups last few years it doesn't really add up to much that a supporter can cherish.
It's nice to win big one off games, but unless it's a final of something what has been achieved?
The only exception to this for me would be an FA cup semi final, that even if lost would be a happy achievement memory.., for a small club at least.
Not bothered either way re Wednesday. My only concern is how their league form is effected in terms of hopefully taking one of the bottom 3 spots in the league. Doubt losing to man city is too demoralising though.
Thank **** weds lost. Couldn't bare their fans giving it large
I agree m8 100%
Nez, I thought you would be as much against washday as I was....... I will have to re evaluate now
Ha-ha, no need to worry O.K.K. I'm not going over to the dark side, even if we are playing sh*te lately!
But if I'm honest, I don't really mind any of the local sides doing well, unless they're playing us, so good luck to any of 'em, especially if they knock one of the "big time Charlie" Premier sides out!
