Showing an interest in a site like this already self selects you as a poster that we would welcome.

Dont just look in, get yourself registered and try a post or two.

OK, accepted this site can be a bit quiet compared to MM but that's why we need new members to be part of the banter family.

Post on both we don't mind...be critical of the site if you wish...we don't mind.

The functionality of the site will I'm sure impress and lack of abuse cannot have escapedyour attention.

Give it a go ...even try a fresh user name.

You'll have to stop it, K.  Rich is getting ever more desperate as his commission dwindles and I hate to see a grown man cry.  Things are so bad on MM that he's actually started to post again. 

I agree with your general sentiment but hope Exeter has some sort of riff-raff filter: God forbid if Gestapo Cam, Gram, gm-gm or the appalling Redhouse get on here.  Cliques, bullying, backstabbing, bannings and all the other things for which MM is a byword.

I agree that we don't want the riff raff but in the same way that they are attracted to the Daily Sport and not The Times they will not be tempted by this site but continue to wallow in their own excrement.

I noticed that we had 2 "guests" viewing from the USA.  Clar has disappeared so it's either Obama or Cam and Sota.

I think it's just a matter of time.

I don't see any pluses that MM has to offer over this site for functionality, aggressive ads, mobile friendliness, ease of use etc other than member numbers.

As people kept saying before - build it and they will come.

We do have to remember MM has been around for what 10yrs or more? - 2 months for us, it's very early days yet smile

Clar has started posting on the MillersMAD matchday thread again recently after being absent for a while!

 

Most of his/her posts consist of "have we scored yet?"   hmm

Well, I used to like Clar but all that "gino's me dad" sh*te drove me mad.  Exeter, you make the very point that occurred to me.  These things take time.  I used to drink lunchtimes with the landlord of a pub.  When all-day drinking came in everybody still left at 3.30 in the afternoon.  For weeks it was like having your own drinking club but slowly but surely they cottoned on and after a few months it was buzzing.  Until the frigging recession of course.
