Despite rumours on a Millers £1m bid for the Rangers wonderkid he's just signed for Brentford. SE has opted instead for 16 year old winger, Junior Mervin, coming in on loan from Lancaster City.
At the risk of being controversial I have to say that TS is in danger of allowing a great deal of goodwill and support evaporate. He built a new stadium and the people of Rotherham have responded. Crowds are averaging around 10,000 and the last 3 home games have all seen over 11,000 attending. It is absolutely crucial that this club avoids relegation. We have got to start building a squad of quality players. I'll take the flak but imo TS is not doing enough.

I don't think anyone apart from Brentford was in for the lad. They have had it set up for long enough for it to he derailed by a 'bigger' club . Linking the millers with this is scapegoating as we were never interested.
I'm uncertain how busting our transfer record twice and giving us our best football match-day experience week after week would engender rebellion in anyone apart from the most disturbed individual.
TSs legacy is safe.
We can't do more than we are doing and much bigger clubs are struggling in this division.
We can't be perfect.
There's lots to celebrate.
26 points. A third season of increased home attendance. 2 successive promotions.
An unbelievable play off semi final.
A dream of a play-off final and perhaps the greatest ever millers goal.
More t.v. and media coverage than ever in our history. An unbelievable community set up. A lovely, lovely ground. Sponsorship deals. Great corporate facilities. A town centre that has a new lease of life on a match day. Roarin' match day pub trade. specialist ales to celebrate the millers. A huge club crest on the stadium.
More active plans for the future: increase in ground capacity. the demolition, or conversion of G&C. A hotel, or gym, or shops to come. A strong boardroom. A great relationship Btw manager and chairman and board.
A great playing surface. A spirited team.
I'm off to a&e for some valium because I must be hallucinating, and I need a bandage for my bleeding finger.
It seems to me that capitalism has well and truly taken root in South Yorkshire. They sowed the seeds of discontent deep when we cant be happy and celebrate all this.
