No more games for me for years now, enjoyed every second. Yes they didn't play well and Pringles was off but what an ending! I always thought that leaving a football match before the end is like leaving a movie before it finishes, I understand it was freezing etc but what a last five minutes. To top it all off just been for an awesome walk in deep snow and a true winter wonderland, perfect.

A conversation with my 8 year old at the Forrest match-
Son- why are there spaces between the fans?
Me- because sometimes they fight.
Son- why?
Me because they are stupid.
Son- Oh.
Five mins later-
Son- Three of the sides are our fans aren't they?
Me- Yes.
Son- great if there is a fight we will win easy.
Nice conversation

You're kid will be a master tactician when he grows up - says it how it is.
Glad you enjoyed your visit. And you are right, the ground and standard of football is as good as we have ever had in my life time ( I'm 107 years old tomorrow) and it's good for those of us who have seen most of the millers over the years to remember this.
If you see my mate Pete from new Plymouth tell him ronnie says hi!
Where does he live? It is quite funny as a lot in the mainstand around me were moaning at Revs and Pringles while I was just so happy to be there. I suppose expectations have risen. After two games I honestly think that the transformation is nothing short of a miracle and the division is a lot tougher than the last time we were there and positive with the chances of staying up.
