How many people left with five minutes to go? They must feel pig sick. Felt like a win in the end and must have felt like a defeat for Huddersfield so psychologically we must take something from that.
I thought we started well enough and passed the ball neatly but lacked any threat in the box. They came to sit deep, press us hard and break quickly and it worked a treat. But both goals came from us giving the bleedin ball away! First Pringle with a loose pass in midfield and then Ledesma with a ridiculous ball back into our 18 yard box!! But the subs did us proud, I though Clarke-Harris was terrific, he won the majority of his headers and placed them deliberately into dangerous areas (you watching Revs?) and of course scored with a powerful header by attacking the ball in the box (you watching Revs?) and Frecks doing what he did so many times last season but not so much this - having a bloody shot from outside the box! Can you tell I'm frustrated? Anyway the end result was more relief than joy but a point is a point against your relegation rivals.

^^^^^ Feel very much the same S8 we need to keep the ball and not give it away as freely, easier said than done. I suppose we will get better the more we play in this new system.
PS, I feel you on the early leavers..... Never leave the game early people, you dont know what you will miss
Just in so haven't had enough time to reflect on the whole game, but Ledesma really cheesed me off. Not only did he arrogantly try a ridiculous back pass into our own area but he continued to blame the defense (Wotton, I think) despite several of the players pointing out the bleeding obvious. No room for that kind of scapegoating in my team. Almost cringe worthy.
Firstly, I want to say I was ecstatic we equalised and that was a massive point (well really a massive two dropped for Huddersfield).
However, I feel that draw has papered over the cracks today and I'm still worried about our performance. We beat Wigan who were dire on the day and we have got out of jail today. Huddersfield were better than us in pretty much all aspects today and deserved to take the 3 points. I'm glad they didn't because the look on their faces at the end was priceless!
We play (or are trying to play) possession football which if done well can be effective, but today was very frustrating. There were plenty of misplaced passes (mainly from Pringle) and lofted balls to nowhere. When we did string passes together, there was nothing in the final third whatsoever. The amount of times we crossed the ball I could count on one hand. We need to be far more incisive if we are to play this way, other teams will have more quality to do this than us. Clarke-Harris seems the only striker who can finish consistently, but doesn't start. I hardly counted any corners today either, the final third is a real worry.
I don't mean to sound too negative (but probably have) as that was a big, big point today and I credit the team for sticking at it, unlike some of the fans. However, I really feel we need to adapt to this system quickly or better teams will beat us regularly. We may well beat Blackpool, but for me Bournemouth, Brentford and the like will be the acid test. If we crack it, we'll do well and I'll doff my cap Mr. Evans' way, but for 88 minutes today we were slack at the back too often and toothless up front.

Good review of today's events Pod, cant disagree with any of that m8
We have lots of options to change the Team but still play in the same way but SE seems to favour the same starting 11 which is fine if everything is going well. Im just waiting for things to "click" and we give some team a good going over, will that team be Blackpool?
