Pay on the Day has just been announced for tomorrow's trip to Wigan Athletic, but it will be CASH ONLY on the turnstiles. #rufc

 I think Kevin meant what he said, diverting. 

 

Divering:

Intending to go somewhere but not having the capacity to carry out the task especially as it relates to under- water adventures launched from a jetty or pier (hence Wigan pier)

Can also be used to mean looking for precious objects or sunken treasure.
