Got lots of Christmas songs I love but before I get down to posting Shawn Phillips, etc, here's one to get you in the mood.

Two Bavarian girls playing accordions whilst roller-skating around a Bierhall - Die Twinnies. Can't get enough of the accordion-rollerskate action.

What's not to like?

Oh dear. Trying again with "Die Twinnies". It's a winner.

Blast, I give up.

Try getting "Die Twinnies" singing "Bayernmadels" on Youtube search.

Good shout S8 another must hear at Christmas time.

Jona Lewie was on Tv the other night on about the outfit he wore on TOTP's for this song, he wore the same clothes that he wore since the 70's  Boots, Army coat and Yellow trousers. In the interview he was wearing the same coat biggrin

Mank thanks, OKK. Top man.

Don't it make you want to march into Poland for Christmas? Er, perhaps not.

Think we should adapt it as a Millers' song/chant?

Jona Lewie excellent. You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties listening to it.

If I could post it, the entire Phil Spector Christmas album would be my main pic.

I like the traditional ones the best, like Do You Hear What I Hear? and Silver Bells which both say everything about Christmas old and new.

Can't beat Slade, or for a bit of perspective Band Aid (the original)
