Quote from BBC Liverpool's transfer summer transfer business

Where have you heard this before?

'Liverpool tried, and failed, to sign Alexis Sanchez before he went on to become Arsenal's £32m inspiration, so, instead of stellar names, they have brought in quantity with promise rather than quality designed to bring instant rewards.'

Will Brendon Rodgers be in for some panic buying in the January Window? More to the point will the Liverpool hierarchy let him loose with the cash?

Is it a case of Back him or Sack him?

A comparison with chelski reveals liverpool spent approximately 10 million less on their marque signings and look at the difference in influence.
