Reading sack Adkins

Reading have sacked Nigel Adkins this morning, is he the start of a run of Managers to lose their jobs? A few chairmen will have itchy trigger fingers with the pressure to get results, avoid relegation or win promotion.

Got to be odds on m8 but I hope he stays long enough to get them deep in the mire,  better them than us biggrin

A new manager could see a quick turn around of Fortunes  for Brighton a bit like Brum hmm

yeah lets hope the hapless, hopeless and surprisingly uninspiring and frankly always 'looks like he is deeply uninterested' and ' doesnt really seem to arsed to be honest' Hypia stays well beyond January. Perhaps they cant afford to replace him?

Reading are in 16th place and we're in 21st place. Reading have won 3 of their last 10 games and we've won just one of ours.

Perhaps because we've never reached the highest of heights, i.e. the premier league, we are too easily satisfied with what we've got?

We need to set our sights a little bit higher, don't we?   biggrin

Neil Adams resigns at Norwich, I wondered how long he would get whils under achieving.  He's taking time out but will be back at the Club in the summer in some capacity. He did well before he was made Manager so that makes sense.

Mike Phelan now takes over, its his big chance to become a Manager and not a number Two.  Maybe he will turn out to be a good fit? Time will tell, Norwich are a big club with potential and dont forget those parachute payments.

Yes, seems he wasnt cut out for the Managers job.

He may well be back with the reserves/Youth side of things in the summer, where he did well before stepping up to become Manager.
