Not sure whether we're gonna bother with this, as we're up north over Xmas taking in Uddersfield & Blackpool, we return darn sarf on the 29th which means a special weekend trek up which doesn't appeal on the scale of the game
Have been and got my ticket. My only gripe is I,ve had to move from a great seat in the east stand to the forgotten wastes of the (shudder)West Stand!.
Why is that then Happy?
Surely the attendance isn't going to be so low as to not open the Family Stand, is it?
Yeah. I got the same email as you did presumably then. It just said they were moving sout-east season ticket holders, but didnt say why? Obviously still have first dibs on tickets though and I would probably want to sit somewhere else for a change anyways.

Heres the email:
Dear Ian,
After a lot of deliberation and planning, we have taken the decision to implement the segregation and movement of season ticket holders from their normal seats in the south section of the East Stand, for the FA Cup fixture against AFC Bournemouth.
With this in mind, we did promise as part of our commitment to loyal season ticket holders that you would be given priority to choose alternative seating to allow you to remain seated with your family or group of friends that you would usually sit with. Tickets for this fixture are due to go on sale to season ticket holders on the Wednesday 10th December through to Wednesday 17th December. In addition to this period, we are giving east stand season ticket holders who have been moved, the first refusal on the seats which have been released from 9am on Thursday 18th December before the tickets go on sale to Millers Mayday members at 9am on Friday 19th December and then general sale at 9am on Monday 22nd December.
We hope you appreciate that this has been a difficult decision for us to make, but understand that we have the clubs best interests at heart.
Right, it means that Bournemouth will not be bringing more than 200 fans to the game and the club have given them the south eastern half of the family stand, which means that any Millers that usually sit there will be re-located in other parts of the ground!
I suppose it makes sense because this way the club won't have to open the south stand meaning a saving on police/stewards and catering staff!
