Oh well, that's the neighbourhood going downhill....

However, I suspect that this is a prankster, not the real Deano. I'm about to go over to the dark side, to resume posting on MillersMad as well as here so maybe I'll check this out.

It does have a whiff of Mandy about it....

Always had a soft spot for deano.  After Davidr9 packed in his match reports Deano's were about the only thing worth reading on MM.  Then he and Rich moved on to bigger things and left the site in the hands of a bunch of cliquey snobs led by an American zealot who spends his time checking IP addresses, deleting posts and banning people who upset his mates.

Agree with the comments re CAM but I'm unsure re the bigger things more like they abandoned the site and showed disrespect towards the members....Deano did write some useful stuff prior to his dissapearance.

True, Kempo, my 'bigger things' comment ought to have been in inverted commas as it was slightly ironic.  I was surprised to read your statement that Rich had suspended your account.  The MM mob were definitely getting too big for their britches and Exeter has done a great service.  Laughable that deano reckons £2 a month is cheap for what MM provides.  It's a discussion board and so far as I can see provides nothing.  If the wannabees of Football Mad can't make a business plan work then  tough.

Ah..I see it now...Irony is not always easy to spot..a bit like sarcasm...but different of course.

I've always had respect for Deano as a person and also knowing that he follows the Millers to almost every away game come rain or shine, and also travels all over the world watching England, but I was very surprised and a little bit disappointed when he went a.w.o.l. from the MillersMAD site for quite a while because he seemed to be the one that was keeping the forum ticking along, while his sidekick Big Rich was very rarely seen on there!

 Sorry for the delay in responding, Villa - Still reeling from the Mighty Maryhill Magyars tremendous win at Inverness CT yesterday.

Eggie (Rimes) & Ernie (Newton) are fine, flourishing in fact.

Thanks to the careful monitoring reports from the postings on the MillersMad forum that you've been mailing them, Villa,  we have a long list of people who have insulted East Dene, pretended to East Deners (hello, Zilzal) or doubted the identity of the first Boss of the World, and my lads will have plenty of work before the Christmas hols.

Quite a few MillersMad posters (and a couple who post on here) can expect to have their f*cial features carefully re-arranged shortly, well in time to delight their loved-ones with their new look on Christmas Day morning. The A&E departments at Rotherham DGH, Northern General Hospital plus the special orthopaedic injury unit at the NGH are already braced for a pre-Christmas rush.

 I feel the comments re CAM are unworthy of a site that's supposed to be a fresh start from the MM bickering and (sometimes) downright abusive stuff posted over there. I don't know what CAM's done to you two, and am not really bothered. Both of you should be mature enough to take any brickbats and move on.

Come on, let's just get into the Christmas spirit and stop any snide comments leaking onto this forum.
