Harry Maguire from Hull City on loan (CB)

James Wilson from Man Utd on loan (ST)

A mate who reckons he has a good source at the club has told him were in for them, didn't say we'd got them though.

Can't see what Maguire can bring, even if it means to accommodate Arni in midfield, I don't see what that is achieving over Arni at the back and Smallwood in midfield does already.  Yes Arni has made some errors.  It's not been spoke about but his decision to go behind Collin was totally wrong on Saturday.  I asked my 8yr old where he would have gone, and he said towards the ball, and even he was shouting 'what are you doing'.  That is not to say he's been superb this season, his composure is needed to play out from the back.  Maybe it's Morgan who will make way?, he's hardly pulled up trees but been steady.  I would think it makes more sense to stick with a back 5 that season long haven't done half bad.  Its further forward that we all know is the problem.  That's the creativity and pace in midfield, and other than Becchio we have nobody we're confident about hitting double figures even if they played all 46 games!  Wilson knows where the goal is in respect of reserve / youth football, but when playing against experienced Championship sides who knows how he'll do, and once again we're favouring other peoples kids over our own (who we spent a pretty penny on might I add).

I'm starting to think the manager has lost the plot.  He's moved away from everything that's made him a success, and yes the budgets are different, but that still shouldn't detract you from what you do best.  He needs to get back to giving his team the in your face mentality, if you don't attack then what's the point.  It's obvious Evans' flaw is spotting players.  His stats are horrendous, and if he needs help in this department then go and get some.  Appoint a Director of Football who heads up the scouting department, someone who's been here and done it and has contacts.  I'd rather a salary be spent on that, than endlessly wasted on pointless loans, wages of players who aren't good enough in the first place, or as he's known to do - panic sign!

In terms of the left back situation, I have to admit that i have never been a fan of Skarz. He has impressed me occasionally, but he is too timid going forward for my liking and lacks composure in tight areas. So, on that basis Id like to think its a position we are looking to challenge him on and so would welcome this

In terms of Lawrence at least he is a winger and this is what the fans have been saying we need. we can only try and get what is available.
