Best decision all round he was never going to get anywhere near the starting 11 - talented lad I have no doubt but not an Evans type of player.

Shame - probably 1/2 seasons too early for us to be used.  Which begs the question what harm to the reputation to us as a club does this do, will PL managers think twice about sending us their youngsters on season loans with the promise of compe***ive football that they sorely need at that age?

Fair point Exeter but we are not a training club for the premier league. Didn't work out for Swift, maybe the level was too high for him.

Interesting!

A Top premier league club loan a starlet out and he cant hold down a place in a poor championship team?

Too early? If so, who miscalculated?

Adopted club not utilising his strengths?

If so, is there a team in the championship he would get a game?

Not good enough?

Time will tell.

Following on from the return of Master Swift I was watching the U19,s last night and good as they were I wondered how many could (A) get in a championship side at the moment and (B) how many will go on to be top players?.confuse
