Loach not happy?

Broken promises?

Not that I'm complaining - I like Collin, and that on Saturday was all Broadfoot's fault anyway

Probably thrown the toys out of the pram with him being an ex international and expected to have dislodged Collin by now

I bet TS has summat to say about the 'value' and 'waste' aspect of what's going on, I know I would do.

Who actually scouts these players?

Tend to agree. It sounds like he's done a mardiello.

In Steve we trust, let's just see who comes and goes. TS and SE aren't ones to sit still if there's developments to be made.

Lets remain positive and remember, if we finish the season where we are now the majority of us will be happy.

It does give you the what ifs scenario though.

However while Bournemouth are doing their thing it only bodes well for us.  I'm sure Steve will get it right

This season is just following the Steve Evans tried and trusted formula that he has used in previous seasons. He will wheel and deal until he (hopefully) settles on a squad and system that suits this league then sometime in the New Year we will have a team that will compete at this level. It's obviously more challenging for him to do this in the Championship given money and resources available but i am confident he will come good! UTM btw greetings from soggy Cornwall!

SE has it covered, only at the end of this season is when we will tell, but i think the prioirty has to to be, we use the Strikers we have when we need them, we were crying out for Bowery & JCH on Saturday and he put Derbyshire on.

Hey ho never mind, In SE we trust.

It is rather amusing how it is always Bury that they end up. Maybe this was terms of the agreement to sign Skarz from them a couple of seasons ago? biggrin

They're our feeder club, they give us pies in return

If I remember rightly Bury's pies were very average. I'd request a refund and send them Derbyshire instead..

Don't think they'd have him, unless there's an opening in the Tea Bar

For some reason I've never been a fan of SE's scattergun approach to transfers, seems to me if he signs 15 & 3work, he's happy, expensive waste of money if you ask me

In league 2 and 1, I was very happy with this approach. It seemed to make sense and I enjoyed watching everyone compete for places (as it should be).  Strength in numbers and the fans being able to make their own ins and outs up-it was all like fantasy football.

This year its the same , but the levels much harder than anything before and the price of failure has ramped up considerably.

Some argue he should know his team and others say he and the scouts should get it right more often. Probably some truth in both beliefs, but this is a huge step and we did it in double quick time. Which team of our stature could possibly have been any more ready than what we were?

The club have done an amazing job, the fans are increasingly slowly but surely and more kids are turning up with mums and dads...who cares what Scott Loach thinks!

By the way, I hope he aint sulking, but if he is then im afraid he doesnt have it. If he aint, good luck to him and get pushing on so that Mr Collin dont start getting too sloppy.

I guess that Thompson coming back is just cover and there could be a new goalie coming in soon?
