Mr Evans' brother isn't it??
As for the value and waste aspect i totally agree mate, it's mind boggling to say the least.. we throw players around like confetti
This season is just following the Steve Evans tried and trusted formula that he has used in previous seasons. He will wheel and deal until he (hopefully) settles on a squad and system that suits this league then sometime in the New Year we will have a team that will compete at this level. It's obviously more challenging for him to do this in the Championship given money and resources available but i am confident he will come good!

btw greetings from soggy Cornwall!
SE has it covered, only at the end of this season is when we will tell, but i think the prioirty has to to be, we use the Strikers we have when we need them, we were crying out for Bowery & JCH on Saturday and he put Derbyshire on.
For some reason I've never been a fan of SE's scattergun approach to transfers, seems to me if he signs 15 & 3work, he's happy, expensive waste of money if you ask me

It may seem that way but just look where its got us
What price Championship football?
I dont know but ask Bratfud and Phil Parkinson that, or even the blunts
In league 2 and 1, I was very happy with this approach. It seemed to make sense and I enjoyed watching everyone compete for places (as it should be). Strength in numbers and the fans being able to make their own ins and outs up-it was all like fantasy football.
This year its the same , but the levels much harder than anything before and the price of failure has ramped up considerably.
Some argue he should know his team and others say he and the scouts should get it right more often. Probably some truth in both beliefs, but this is a huge step and we did it in double quick time. Which team of our stature could possibly have been any more ready than what we were?
The club have done an amazing job, the fans are increasingly slowly but surely and more kids are turning up with mums and dads...who cares what Scott Loach thinks!
By the way, I hope he aint sulking, but if he is then im afraid he doesnt have it. If he aint, good luck to him and get pushing on so that Mr Collin dont start getting too sloppy.
I guess that Thompson coming back is just cover and there could be a new goalie coming in soon?
